Regional Killas!

Congrats to the Regional Killas aka Stanford's Society of Black Scientist and Engineers (SBSE) of NSBE's Region Six for winning regional Large Chapter of the Year!

Recently SBSE traveled to Las Vegas to participate in NSBE's (the largest student run organization in the country) National Convention. Students participated in the 300+ company job fair, research competitions, developmental workshops, and networked with other engineering students and professionals. It was a beautiful thing and defWord had the opportunity to participate!

Stanford BSU High School Conference 2009

Hey Fam,

defWord is supporting Stanford University's annual High School Conference. The event features workshops, speakers, and collegiate entertainment. It's all about expanding the youth's perspective on opportunities after high school- be it college or something else.
